Alocura is pleased to announce that we have achieved the Cyber Essentials certification, meaning our business and software now meets independently verified and government standards for Cyber Security in the UK.
As well as helping to guard Alocura against cyber attack, Cyber Essentials accreditation also demonstrates our cyber security commitment to you, our customers and suppliers.
As the government now requires all suppliers bidding for contracts involving the handling of certain sensitive and personal information to hold an up to date Cyber Essentials certificate, we’re delighted we now have this set of set of technical controls to protect ourselves against common online security threats.
The scheme was first launched with backing from industry in 2014, including the Federation of Small Businesses, the CBI and a number of insurance organisations offering incentives for businesses. Since then, 120,000 certificates have been awarded to businesses, charities, educational institutions and other organisations.
